On-Campus Placement Testing

All NEW First Year and Transfer students (who do not have transferable Math & English credit) MUST take both the Math and English Placement Tests. First Year students must complete their Placement Tests at least 48 hours prior to attending Orientation or their placements will be based on their high school GPA and ACT/SAT scores if submitted.

*If you are unsure if your transfer credit is satisfactory, please email placement@uwp.edu from your RANGER MAIL account. 

Please note, students are highly encouraged to complete placement testing on their home computers if they have able. On-campus placement testing days are reserved for those who may not have computer access. 

Check-in will begin at 8:30am with testing beginning promptly at 9:00am. All students must be checked-in and seated five minutes prior to testing start time. Students taking Math and English exams should anticipate being done within three hours of the start of testing. Students taking Math, English, and World Language exams should anticipate being done within four hours of the start of the testing.
